NorCal Velo Women Win!

Hilary Bartels, Cathy Crawford, and Sarah Piccolo placed 1st, 2nd, and 3rd at the Kings Ridge Grasshopper! Shannon Sobeck won her 8-hour solo race at the Cool Mountain Bike Race Against Cancer! Great job girls!

ABC Roadside Clean-up Ride

Thank you to everyone who participated in last weekend's Roadside Clean-up Ride. In addition to using a GPS device for recording large dump sites such as the one below, the team also spent time along Hall and Occidental Roads picking up strewn litter. The litter was then hauled away in a bob-trailer loaned to the team by the Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition.

Thursday Night Women's Clinics

NorCal Velo is dedicated to encouraging women to race a bike! We are offering a series of free on-the-bike skills clinics every Thursday evening for 5 weeks, May 1st - May 29th. Clinic topics will include: pacelines & eschelons, team time-trialing, cornering & counter-steering, bumping, sprinting, "the lead-out", and much more!
