The HR Matrix, LLC, based in Santa Rosa, provides outsourced human resources and organization development support. Co-Founder Brenda Gilchrist moved to Santa Rosa with her husband Rob in 2005. In 2006, Brenda merged consulting practices with her new business partner, Gary Hochman. In addition to co-managing the practice, Brenda is a member of NorCal Velo Women's Cycling Team. She enjoys training and competing in triathlons, while running her "fun business", TriChic, on the side (www.TriChic.com).

The HR Matrix, LLC fills a niche market in the North Bay because most companies in the area don't have an internal HR department or don't have the expertise in-house for certain projects. The HR Matrix, LLC has quickly become the premier HROD company in the North Bay. The HR Matrix is comprised of a team of 10 seasoned HROD professionals.

Recently, Brenda was nominated for Santa Rosa's 2008 under-40 Business Journal award. Gary Hochman is an active member in the community. He currently serves as President of 4c's, a non-profit agency located in Santa Rosa, dedicated to the promotion and support of quality child care services for children and families through education, advocacy, and direct services. He is an adjunct professor at Sonoma State University in the OD Masters program.
