How she became a bike racer: I was encouraged by my buddies on the Gianni Cyclery & Ibis mountain bike race teams

Most memorable NorCal experience: Getting air with Claire on our cross bikes at the Ashland BMX jump track.
Goals for 2008 season: upgrade to Cat2 on the road, race as a team in as many local crits as possible, and race in the dirt for fun!
Community outreach activities: Trail work in the Willow Creek watershed, volunteering at community cycling events

Advice you to young women who want to race:
If you feel afraid to race, remember that everyone else is feeling that too (or did at one time). The success is in doing it anyway, despite that fear.
