How she bacame a bike racer: I was encouraged by friends to enter a MTB race at Lake Sonoma. Claire talked me in to doing my first road race, the Pilarcitos Women's Stage Race in 2004.

Favorite NorCal memory: Riding old Cazadero for the first time; the Rita train pulling us all the way to Duncan Mills for coffee and cinnamon rolls.
Goals for 2008: To be a strong supporting team member. Climb like an Ibex.
Advice to young women who want to race: Have fun, allow yourself to experience the moment and visualize yourself being successful within it.
