Favorite NorCal memory: "The camaraderie, sense of accomplishment and EXCITEMENT that abounded after finishing Cathys Fall Classic 2007! 68 miles, 9,500 of climbing. We emailed each other for days and days afterward, it was a great adventure."
Goal for 2008 season: To participate in as many local mountain biking events as possible.
Community outreach activities: Participation with Sonoma County Trails Council and Bike Monkey; I am looking forward to doing more with these groups in 08, like trail work, attending city meetings, and volunteering at events.
Advice to young women who want to race: Find other women to ride and train with. Theyre competitively your peers, and youll laugh a heck of a lot more with them than you do riding with the guys (Bobas aside). And, always have fun!
