From Beth Dadko, Coordinator of Sonoma County Safe Kids: "Thank you so much for all of your effort and time to be part of the Herb Greenberg Memorial and bike rodeo at Piner-Olivet Charter School. It was a great event! Anne Greenberg, Herbs widow, as well as his two sons, were there when Safe Kids re-named the Herb Greenberg Bicycle Rodeo Kit and the Herb Greenberg Helmet Bank in Herbs honor. They received a framed certificate of appreciation as well as a copy of the new manual. Thank you to the Chris Culver for saying a few words about Herb and to Martin Clinton for presenting the first donation to the Herb Greenberg Helmet Bank. The Santa Rosa Cycling Club donated $1000 to the fund. Thank you to Steve Schmitz who produced the blown-up pictures of Herb for the memorial event."

"Also, a HUGE thanks to the Community Media Center (Dan Villalva and Jill Newman) who taped almost 2 hours of footage! They will feature the rodeo in an upcoming segment and we will be able to use the footage to create a training video for all schools and organizations that would like to use the rodeo kit! We also received excellent coverage of the event by TV 50 and the Press Democrat."

"The rodeo was a tremendous success! Thanks to Claire House and Tom Maunder for setting up the course (which was a little more challenging since these were 7th and 8th grade students). Thank you to Tim Gonzalez for leading the egg drop activity and to Diana Nolan for helping to fit bike helmets. Martin Clinton did an excellent job leading three bike safety talks with groups of students!"

"A special thanks to Jim Keene and Rob Dillion from Nor Cal Bike Sport for helping tune up bikes and teach the kids about how to do a safety check on their bikes."

"Thanks to Janice and Mike Eunice, Steve Schmitz, Chris Culver and Michael Teller for helping to run the skills course! And a big thank you to Ron Perez, who led the written test portion of the event (and didnt leave until after 5:00 p.m.~!!!)"
