The team often meets at the Channel Drive parking lot for group mountain bike rides. Lately we've been noticing a large amount of garbage in the area, which is not what you like to see right before heading out to enjoy some nature.

We had a quick and easy remedy: a few garbage bags, gloves, and about 30 minutes of effort (zone 1). We found a few GU wrappers and some cycling-related clothing scraps, but for the most part the garbage must not have come from cyclists: pieces of drywall, home-run pie wrappers, cigarette packs, 7-eleven coffee cups, lots of glass, etc. So the area is looking pretty spiffy now!
