As I was riding to the Tuesday Twilights I had 2 thoughts in mind. 1) Boy do my legs feel heavy and 2) Why didnt I think to get a massage after the Billy Cross race on Sunday? Too late now....is this sounding familiar? Whoa, Penny and I were living parallel lives for a few minutes there!

As I was waking up from an afternoon catnap Tuesday, Jesse says "you know, you could just take this Tuesday off." Actually Jesse, no. No I cant. Its just too much dang fun out there. The racing was a little more reasonable this week, and I was able to find those "sweet spots" Donamarie was telling us about. So I just tucked in and had an easy race. It was great to see so many women out racing; I think there were 6 women in the second race, pretty cool.

I now have a new set of legs, having just had a professional massage from Brenda Phelps. That girl has magic in her hands. Im serious, I just had a massage from Brenda too!

Pennys At it Again

As I was riding to the Tuesday Twilights I had 2 thoughts in mind. 1) Boy do my legs feel heavy and 2) Why didnt I think to get a massage after the Billy Cross race on Sunday? Too late now. I signed up for the first race hoping to just be able to hang on and have fun. Well I did hang on for a while but eventually ended up with a group of stragglers and just decided to finish the race. I was definitely dragging. I have to thank one of the juniors from Team Swift for pulling me up to a group I could work with during the last 1/3 of the race. Laura has trained those boys well.
