It was great to race with Elizabeth! She got the upgrade she deserved, and now we can work together...very exciting. We were definitely outnumbered today, so we sort of conspired with the Village Peddler girls and Rita Szeto to act like a team for the day. Nothing really happened to necessitate following through with this, but I bet it would have worked, so I hope to try it some other time. Anyway, I felt really good, but sort of lazy at the same time, if thats possible. I didnt go for any primes and it was a flat course with 4 90 degree corners. Needless to say it came down to a sprint. I think I need a coach to bark at me things like "Why didnt you just go for it out of the last corner?" or "What the hell were you doing in the middle of that pack with one lap to go?". "I dunno." I came pretty close, but not close enough, which was only good for 5th place.

I dont have to tell you that I had fun, but I cant help it!
