Claires L.P. race report

I was a little nervous about this race because I know it can be a crash-fest (Land-on-Your-Ass-Park). I remember racing at Land Park when I was an aggie at Davis; I had to bunny-hop someone�s torso! It was so great to have Krista there to race with me. Having a team-mate to line up with at the start is a boost of confidence, and I�m looking forward to being able to line up 4 or 5 abreast. I really wanted to have the race stay together (not much of an issue @ LP) and to have a good go in the sprint. I chased a few fliers and my legs felt good, but I just couldn�t stay up towards the front on the last lap. At the end, we just groveled for whatever we could get! I�m satisfied with 12th. Another highlight of the day was meeting Tina! I talked to her about joining NorCal and she seemed interested! Yee-ha!
