Wednesday Night Track Racing - Hellyer Velodrome

At the Track - Hillary Daniels

Track racing has begun! Actually, it started in April but I am lagging hard on my race reports. The first race I did was Wednesday 4/19. Since I am thoroughly out of shape and hadn�t been on the track for months I decided to race with the C�s. I surprised myself by not only staying with the pack but staying at the front. The races were all very short, just a few laps each and I managed to finish 3rd in the omnium.

I should mention that this was my new Hunter track bike�s maiden voyage and my is she fine!

Wednesday, April 26 was the next race- this time we were going for endurance. We did longer races, and my lack of fitness showed- I finished 10th with the C�s.
