Lafayette Criterium

Denise and I drove down to the 3/4 race, which was picked seperately. Denise rocked for a 3rd in the 4s and a podium appearance! The course went through downtown Lafayette, which is a really cute town, with easy acess Peets and multiple burrito joints. The field was pretty sketchy, lots of breaking into turns and weaving in and out of the group. I got boxed in at the end, and was bumped simultaneously by a large girl on the left and a large girl on the right. Guess its time for this girl to shut up, train a little more, and race with the 1,2,3s...
The real story of the day was Denise. She was fearless, riding most of the day near the front. She charged into the final spring like a natural crit racer! Yea, Denise!!!
