I love this race! Rita and I lined up with between 30 and 40 CAT 1,2,3 women. The pace was fast, and it was fun to go screaming fast into tight turns each lap. The race was highlighted by multiple attacks from the Metromint team; they kept sending girl after girl off the front, waiting for the field to respond. Rita snapped a prime, it was awesome to hear her name announced as we rode past the announcer! The breaks were chased down each time, and the race ended in a field sprint. I took 10th in the 3s, with Rita right behind in 11th.
