Elizabeths Race Report

Nothing like smelling a field full of broccoli to psyche me up to race...Cold and foggy. On the way out to the climb, things stayed together, with numerous reports from returning riders about black ice (!). Things strung out on the climb- I was 3rd, just behind the leaders, but things went, uh, downhill after that. Managed to catch on to a small chase groupright before the muddy section (good for photo ops), but got dropped on the icy section. Uff Da!
