The first TNC of the year! We're really lucky to have a weekly crit to practice on. That being said I am not much of a crit racer. Although a good friend of mine once told me that if you show up to do a crit, then you are indeed a crit racer. I got dropped in the 3rd lap and strung myself out trying to catch on or catch others to work with. I was lapped, tried to hang on but placed myself in a not so advantageous spot and off the back I went. I plan to take advantage of our local crit to better my skills in this event as the season goes on. I am always inspired by those who make it look so easy. How do they do it??? Practice , practice, practice...
